This Privacy Policy explains how Photo2NAS handles information when you use the iPhone application and this website. Photo2NAS is designed to upload photos and videos selected by you to a Synology NAS and destination folder configured by you. The app is focused on photo and video backup; it is not designed to browse, edit, or manage unrelated data stored on your NAS.

The app requests access to your photo library so that it can display available albums, identify the photos and videos you select for backup, and read the media files required for upload. The scope of access depends on the permission you grant in iOS Settings, including selected-photo access where supported.

This information is used to establish the connection and perform the backup workflow you configure.

Information handled by the app is used to provide and maintain its photo-backup functions, including connecting to your NAS, presenting selectable albums, determining which media items require upload, transferring those items to the chosen destination folder, showing backup progress and status, preventing unnecessary duplicate work where supported, and helping diagnose problems when you contact support.

Only media included in the albums or selections you configure is eligible for backup. The app transfers those files to the Synology NAS and destination folder you choose. Transfer success depends on the availability and configuration of your iPhone, network, NAS, user account, destination folder, and storage capacity.

5. Credentials, settings, and on-device storage5. 凭据、设置与设备端存储
The app may store backup preferences and operational state on your device so that configured backup tasks can continue across launches. Sensitive authentication credentials are stored using security facilities provided by iOS, such as Keychain, where applicable. Other preferences may be stored in the app's local container.

If optional analytics, crash-reporting, payment, or other third-party services are introduced in a future version, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated to describe the relevant data practices before or when those services are used.

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect information handled by the app, including iOS-provided storage protections for sensitive credentials. However, no device, network, authentication method, or data transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for securing your NAS account, selecting appropriate connection methods, maintaining DSM and device updates, and controlling access to your network.

On-device configuration and backup state are retained for as long as needed to provide the configurations you keep in the app. Information you send in a support request may be retained for a reasonable period to respond, maintain support records, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.

- You may delete local app data by removing saved configurations or uninstalling the app, subject to iOS behavior described above.
- You may contact us to ask about personal information contained in support communications or other information directly provided to us.
